What is the true flavor of coffee? With a combined 25 years experience in specialty coffee our team has been thinking about the answer to this question for a long time. The joy of discovering the essence of the world’s best coffees and the desire to share that experience led to starting True Coffee Roasters in 2010. Goals for our company include faithfully representing the best in every coffee we carry, purchasing only coffees that sustain the earth and provide a viable living for the people who grow them, and helping our wholesale customers find ways to create their own successes.
Small and fresh! We are roasting on a vintage 12 Kilo cast iron drum roaster. Cast iron conveys the heat in a very even manner, which results in consistent roast levels and vibrant flavors. Coffees are only roasted after a wholesale customer’s order has been placed and are sent out right away.
You work too hard! Small business owners must often be all things to all people. Keeping up an effective coffee training program can be a challenge. True Coffee Roasters will work with you and your staff to spark their curiosity and increase both their knowledge and confidence level in great coffees. Our CCEAP program (a shorter way of saying “comprehensive coffee and espresso assessment process”) helps us objectively make recommendations to improve YOUR coffee sales.
The sheer number and diversity of coffees available, and opinions about them can be overwhelming. At True Coffee Roasters we want to mix it all up and filter it down to give you the best coffees, carefully roasted and arriving along with our cupping notes, grower information and brewing suggestions.
Our method is simple: taste a large variety of coffee, sort out the best, bring it to you, and try to faithfully represent what we believe is present in each coffee – always staying true to the bean.
